Dispatch from Brunswick
As it stands, it is past midsummer and the sun has finally decided to show its face through the Maine fog and clouds that have been omnipresent this season. As a landscape painter, the particular meteorological conditions have been less than exemplary, and yet, I have been enjoying myself thoroughly. This summer I have had the happy task of depicting the Maine coast through a variety of media due to a generous fellowship from Bowdoin College....and so I have spent my time interpreting what I see through film and on canvas....
